Sakura Matsuri at Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Saturday, I went to the Sakura Matsuri event at Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. It was a great sight to see all the cheery trees at full bloom and other flowers blooming during the Hanami spring season. I enjoyed the festival and had a lot of laughs from the Samurai and Ninja plays. They are live theater plays with a mix of engaging story, drama, comedy, romance, and martial arts. There was also live music performance and other specialty events. I haven’t had a good time from live performance in awhile. This definitely met my expectations.
